It’s been a great week for raising the profile of asthma.

I’ve had emails from schools wanting policies, posters and speakers.

Young people met politicians in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast.

NHS managers and clinicians met to decide how to reduce emergency hospital admissions for asthma.

The Health Secretary made a ‘call to arms’ for schools to take asthma seriously.

We turned prominent places lime green, including the Senedd in Cardiff.

We’ve given dozens of media interviews.

And hundreds of Limelight fundraising events took place across the country in aid of our work.

Now we need you to keep this going.

By becoming a volunteer, you could help us take up invitations to visit schools and give talks about asthma or do media interviews.

By becoming a member, you can stay in touch with Asthma UK’s work, tell us your priorities and be part of our community.

By becoming a committed giver, you can help fund services like Kick Asthma holidays, Asthma UK nurses and the Adviceline.

Whatever you do and however you support us, share your experiences, pictures and messages. Momentum is building for better asthma care, in schools, GP practices and workplaces. The stronger we are as a community, the better the chance of keeping that momentum going.
